Dalkeith and its sister suburb of Peppermint Grove, which share the beautiful Freshwater Bay shoreline of the Swan River, are widely regarded as two of Perth’s dress-circle suburbs.
And, if the rating is predicated on price, then Dalkeith certainly qualifies. But, Dalkeith has other attributes, too, that would certainly put it up there with the best in any definition of the word.
Lovely, established homes , new waterfront mansions, broad and leafy streets, stunning views, and only minutes into the heart of Perth’s CBD... these are just some of the advantages that Dalkeith has going for it.
Dalkeith lies within the City of Nedlands, approximately 6.4 kilometres from Perth, a municipality that also includes the suburbs of Nedlands, Hollywood, Mt Claremont, Swanbourne, parts of Shenton Park, and Floreat.
In all, the city encompasses some 20.6 square kilometres and the council is responsible for the maintenance of 137.03 kilometres of roads and more than 380 hectares of parks and gardens. More than 21,000 residents live within the city’s boundaries.
