National Zoo and Aquarium

National Dinosaur Museum

National Museum of Australia

| This eclectic museum is housed on the Acton Peninsula in a unique and colourful building. It is the first museum devoted to the stories of Australia and Australians, and contains such items as Phar Lap's heart and the carcass of a Tasmanian Tiger. General admission to the museum is free. |
