•   UnderWater World
UnderWater World in Mooloolaba is Queensland`s largest oceanarium and aquarium. Kids will ove the sharks, crocodiles, stingray, playful seals and cheeky otters. Let them get their hands wet in the touch tanks and be sure not to miss some of the informative and fun shows.

•   The Big Pineapple
The Big Pineapple at Woombye is an icon of the Sunshine Coast. Visit the pineapple and macadamia plantations with up to 5 tours. The tours are both entertaining and informative, with fun rides and interesting commentary. For a great snack, enjoy fresh and delicious sundaes and parfaits on the restaurant's wide verandahs, overlooking the plantation.

•   Australia Zoo
Visit the Crocodile Hunter in his natural habitat at Australia Zoo in Beerwah for a day of wildlife action and adventure. There are 14 shows each day including the crocodile show, the free flight bird show, the Asian otters and the playful tigers. Don’t forget Harriet, the giant Galapagos tortoise, who hatched in 1830 and is the worlds oldest living resident. Crikey! You’ll have a great day!

•   The Big Kart Track and The Bungy Bullet
The Big Kart Track and The Bungy Bullet will both give your kids a huge thrill. They can race on Australia`s largest commercial go-kart track with its sweeping curves, fast straights and tight hairpins. Or they can defy gravity as they experience the incredible G-forces of being shot 50 metres into the air in just over a second. Younger kids are also catered for with a junior go-kart track.

•   Bellingham Maze
Bellingham Maze is a large, challenging, star shaped hedge maze. Get lost in this living maze with its 2-metre high cypress pine hedges, but try not to use the “Give Up” gate! With mini mazes, brain teasing puzzles and a huge walk-through aviary, there’s plenty to do. Bring a picnic or treat yourself to Devonshire tea.

•   The Superbee Honey Factory
The Superbee Honey Factory combines information and demonstrations about beekeeping and honey with amusements for children on a fairytale theme. Visit Three Bears Cottage, the House That Jack Built and the house of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Entrance is free except for some rides.

•   Top Shots Fun Park
Top Shots Fun Park in Maroochydore has something for everyone, with two 18-hole mini golf courses, bumper boats (like dodgems on water with spray guns), the Extreme Vertical trampoline, an indoor rock climbing wall and video games arcade.

•   Fishing
Encourage the kids to drop a line into one of the region’s many rivers or lakes. Fishing is great fun, and who knows? They just might catch dinner!

•   Kid-friendly beaches
Some of the best beaches for kids on the Sunshine Coast include Golden Beach in Caloundra, where there is calm water for safe swimming, boating and windsurfing. The foreshore has play equipment, BBQs and picnic tables. In Maroochydore, try the Maroochy River, with its sandy banks and shaded picnic areas. In Noosa, the Noosa River also features sandy beaches and calm water, ideal for swimmers who are not yet confident enough for the surf.

•   Tanawah Tourist Drive and Forest Glen Sanctuary
Take a drive down the Tanawah Tourist Drive and give the kids the opportunity to hand feed the deer or hold a koala at Forest Glen Sanctuary.
