•   Old Melbourne Gaol and Penal Museum
Amongst Old Melbourne Gaol and Penal Museum`s chilling exhibits are the gallows from which Ned Kelly was hung. A night-time tour of the jail is also available for the brave. This historic bluestone penal museum has 3 levels of cells with deathmasks, gallows and exhibitions detailing its most notorious inmates.

•   Queen Victoria Market
This undercover food market, not far from the city centre, opened in 1878 and is a Melbourne institution. From Tuesday to Thursday and on Sunday, you can shop or take an historic or gourmet tour.

•   Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Australian Gallery of Sport
Sports fans should not miss the MCG and the Australian Gallery of Sport, which celebrates Australian achievements in sport. There is also an Olympic Museum and the MCG Cricket Museum.
